PodcastAlley.com | Wrote the code the site runs on
http://www.podcastalley.comRe-wrote the code to handle the scalability needs for the extremely popular site.Created MyAlley, which was a new feature set to the site where users could manage their subscriptions on the site and have this all automatically synced up with the Juice podcasting client. http://www.phpgroupware.org Project Leader / Primary Architect / Core DeveloperIn March of 2000 I joined forces with another developer to create a web based groupware solution which would provide all the core groupware functionality (email, calendar, todo, notes, and contacts) as well as provide a powerful Object Oriented API that would allow for additional custom applications. With this API developers have created a time tracking application, an inventory program, a billing system, and a project management application, just to name a few.Wrote the next generation API/Framework for the project. This new Framework supports browsers as well as SOAP and XML-RPC interfaces. The browser interface has the presentation layer separated out to XSL, which can be offloaded to the client browsers for rendering, thereby reducing processor overhead from the server by considerable amounts. As Project Leader of a popular Free Software project I have been responsible for keeping the project fresh and exciting to work on for a developer community spread across the globe for several years.
